JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced senior QA engineer to oversee our quality assurance team. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying faults, and reviewing QA reports.

To ensure success as a senior QA engineer you should have extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage. A top-notch senior QA engineer ensures the smooth running of the QA department and ultimately customer satisfaction.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry- accepted best practices.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
  • Works with clients in evaluating and implementing new technologies and offer strategies for new opportunities
  • Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
  • Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
  • Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
  • Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
  • Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
  • Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
  • Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
  • Ensuring the successful deployment of products into production.
  • Responding to requests from the design team and management.
  • Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
  • Creating training materials and operating manuals.
  • Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
  • Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs

MUST HAVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of 4+ years as a QA Engineer or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • High-level analytical skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Critical thinker.
  • Ability to project manage.
  • Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards.
  • Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate technical aspects to people with non-IT backgrounds.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between QA and development teams.
